One night after the FTB's and Radiomen had waved ta-ta and ascended the brow for liberty leaving the lowely MT's to the drudgery of muzzle hatch PM's, we got to the point where we needed to move the boat and the brow to cycle the hatches under them. We got ahold of Mr.Larsen (WDO) and told him of our situation. He wasn't in the mood to deal with us as I remember and said "you need to move the boat, move the f*****g boat". So, we sent guys to the capstain, lines topside, and so forth. We set our little maneuvering watch and moved the boat and brow. Capt. Friedman came back off liberty and noticed the boat had been moved without his prior approval. Shit hit the fan for the WEPS needless to say. He jumped us about it and we said hey - you said move it so get over it.
