I was a Missile Tech on the Gold Crew from 1979 to 1984. I then went to shore duty in Cape Canaveral, FL at an outfit called NOTU (Naval Ordnance Test Unit). We supported test missile launches from both coasts. After that tour I got out of the Navy and stayed in the Cocoa/Cape Canaveral area. I got hired in at Martin Marietta on the Titan 34D and Titan 4 rocket programs. After 4 years as a technician I was promoted to engineer. At that point I figured that I would do my part and get my Electrical Engineering degree. So from 1992 to 2007 I went to college at the blistering pace of one class per semester, but finally graduated with my Electrical Engineering degree. Martin Marietta merged with Lockheed in 1995 to become Lockheed Martin. After the Titan program ended in 2005 I transferred to the FBM side of the house and found myself back in the submarine missile program. I retired from Lockheed Martin and the FBM program in May, 2016.
My default slide show is of pictures from the boat. Click on the Photo Albums link on the left side of this page to see my two albums. One is of boat pictures and the other is of miscellaneous pictures - mostly current, but some old. In slide show mode you can mouse over the bottom right side of the photo that is showing and click the option for viewing in FULL SCREEN. That is a better option.

Mark Liepke worked for me for a year or so on the sub base. It was quite a shock to see him show up to work one day. I had nothing to do with his hiring, he just showed up to work after the office did the interviews and sent him along.
The picture #11 in your series of pictures (labeled 89) has the unknown person in the foreground...that is Matt Kravitz (sp?) aka Megawatt Matt. He was a first class electrician. Picture #70 (labeled 149) has LT Dan (hollywood) Nordstrom on the far right and Glenn Linton at the bottom, second from the left. Just filling in a few blanks as I recognize them.
Andy
I've got some pictures I need to scan and put on here. Don't know if I can remember all the guys in the pics.
