About me
I was a Missile Tech on the Gold Crew from 1979 to 1984. I then went to shore duty in Cape Canaveral, FL at an outfit called NOTU (Naval Ordnance Test Unit). We supported test missile launches from both coasts. After that tour I got out of the Navy and stayed in the Cocoa/Cape Canaveral area. I got hired in at Martin Marietta on the Titan 34D and Titan 4 rocket programs. After 4 years as a technician I was promoted to engineer. At that point I figured that I would do my part and get my Electrical Engineering degree. So from 1992 to 2007 I went to college at the blistering pace of one class per semester, but finally graduated with my Electrical Engineering degree. Martin Marietta merged with Lockheed in 1995 to become Lockheed Martin and I am still with them. After the Titan program ended in 2005 I transferred to the FBM side of the house and now find myself back in the submarine missile program.
I somehow avoided the altar all of these years, but am very happy with Ami whom I have been dating for almost 2 years. We are looking forward to seeing some of you again when we finally do that MT reunion in the next year or so.
My default slide show is of pictures from the boat. Click on the Photo Albums link on the left side of this page to see my two albums. One is of boat pictures and the other is of miscellaneous pictures - mostly current, but some old. In slide show mode you can mouse over the bottom right side of the photo that is showing and click the option for viewing in FULL SCREEN. That is a better option.
By the way - if my music gets on your nerves just go to the player on the left and hit the PAUSE or the MUTE button.
